Where can I find the price list for accommodation?

How can I book a room?

You can book a room by sending an inquiry through the request form on our website, sending us an email to info@zlatna-vala.hr or a message via WhatsApp to the number +385 (0)91 535 22 76 or simply by calling +385 (0)52756 060.

How will I know that my reservation is confirmed?

After you confirm your reservation with a non-refundable deposit, you will receive a written booking confirmation at your email address.

What charges are included in the price?

VAT is included in the price, while the additional cost of the sojourn tax will be charged per person per day.

Do I have to pay if I cancel my reservation?

For the period from May 17th to September 20th, it is possible to cancel reservations free of charge up to 15 days before the arrival date, while for the rest of the year, it is possible to cancel reservations free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival date. However, after that time, the hotel will charge the amount for the first night's stay. In case of a no-show,  the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

When can I enter my room?

Check-in hours are from 2 pm to 9 pm on the arrival date. If you cannot check in during the hotel's regular hours please contact the reception in time by phone at +385 (0)52756 060 or by email at info@zlatna-vala.hr.

When do I have to vacate my room?

Check-out is possible from 8 am to 10 am on the departure date. If available, the late check-out fee is 50% of the price for the night on the requested date. 

Which documents should I bring with me?

Guests must present a valid identification document at reception.

I travel by car. Where can I park?

There is a public parking place in front of the hotel and a covered private one behind the property. At check-in, you will receive a remote control to access the private parking place and you will return it at the check-out. The loss of the remote control will be charged 40€.

How can I pay for the services in the hotel?

The hotel accepts payment in cash (only Euros) and with debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Diners).

I don't travel by car. How can I get to the hotel from the bus station?

You can reach the hotel by taking the bus line (Umag-Novigrad- Poreč -Pula) and asking the driver to get off at the stop Križine, from there you have 500m on foot.

I don't travel by car. How can I get to the town center?

The town of Umag does not offer public transport services. You can get to the town center either on foot or by bike on a seaside promenade and by taxi.

We travel with children. How can I get a crib or an extra bed?

The crib is free of charge.

Children under the age of 6 can stay free of charge. 

An extra bed is charged 15€ per day.

The maximum number of extra beds and/or cribs in double rooms is one. 

Please contact the hotel directly for additional beds before making a reservation.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Pets are not allowed.

Is the facility adapted for disabled persons?

The facility is not adapted for disabled persons.

Where is guest healthcare provided?

Hotel guests are referred to a tourist clinic in the center of Umag at E. Pascali 3a.

Where can I find a currency exchange service?

You can change your currency in banks in the center of Umag.

What does the beach look like?

Nearby you can enjoy the charms of natural rocky beaches.

Where can I rent sunbeds?

Hotel guests can rent sunbeds at the reception for an additional charge.

Is there any bike rental?

Hotel guests can rent bikes at the reception for an additional charge. You can rent an e-bike or an e-scooter by reaching Beroe on the number +385 98 961 5189 or via mail at federico.moratto@gmail.com or by contacting the tourist agency Touristra on the following numbers: +385 52 741 806 and +385 52 741 760.

Are there any other hospitality facilities nearby?

During summer you can find a pop-up bar on the dock, 100 m from the hotel and other bars and hospitality facilities in a range of 2 km.

Is there any shop?

A mini market is situated only 250 m on the opposite side of the bay.

RESTAURANT

What are the breakfast hours? Where is it served?

Breakfast starts at 8 am and ends at 10.30 am. 

It is served in the restaurant's dining room and on the terrace if the weather is suitable.

Outside guests can have breakfast for the cost of 10€.

Is the restaurant open all day?

No, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Lunch is served between 12 pm and 3 pm and dinner is served between 6 pm and 10 pm.

Does the restaurant serve only hotel guests?

No, everyone is welcome to visit us during the above-mentioned hours. A table reservation is recommended. You can book a table directly in the restaurant, at the reception or by phone at +385 52 756 060.

What does the restaurant offer?

You can read the menu here. Except for the regular menu, seasonal specialties are prepared as well.

Can I come just for a drink as an outside guest?

Of course! But we do not guarantee a table during lunch and dinner hours.

How can I pay in the restaurant?

Outside guests can pay either with cash (in euros) or with credit/debit cards (Visa, Maestro, MasterCard e Diners), while hotel guests can settle their consumption at check-out.
